Photographs relating to the political career if Donald E. Clark (b. 1933), who served as Multnomah (Or.) County Sheriff (1963-1966), Assistant Director of the Law Enforcement Program at the Urban Studies Center of Portland State College (1967-1968), Multnomah County Commissioner (1969-1978), and Multnomah County Executive Officer (1979-1982). The photographs date from circa 1964-1982 and include portraits of Clark and photos of his public appearances with different organizations and individuals, including Neil Goldschmidt and Walter Mondale; images relating to the Multnomah County Sheriff's Department, including personnel, patrol boats and cars, and police activities; and photos of Robert F. Kennedy's presidential campaign in 1968, among other subjects.
